Let's Rock The World One Tree At A Time!

As a band deeply committed to making a positive impact on our planet, we're excited to announce our collaboration with One Tree Planted, a fantastic non-profit organization dedicated to global reforestation efforts.

We believe in the power of music to inspire change, and we want to use our platform to help create a greener, more sustainable world. That's why we've launched our "One Follow = One Tree Planted" initiative on Spotify!

Here's how it works:

Commemorating the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival!!!

In May this year the Senate agreed, by unanimous consent, to designate the last weekend of June 2022 as a time to commemorate the first weekend of the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival!

In honor of the occasion Alexandra Fischer has created this wonderful commemorative poster featuring our very own Lester Chambers!!! Lester was the lead vocalist in the The Chambers Brothers who performed at the Harlem Cultural Festival and he now performs with Moonalice!!!

Moonalice Minute: Lester & Dylan Chambers (Episode 1)

Lester Chambers, with his son Dylan, talk to Ben Fong-Torres about how Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Average White Band and others didn't want to headline after The Chambers Brothers opened a show. Lester and Dylan continue to play the songs of The Chambers Brothers and much more as part of Moonalice.

Stay tuned to more "Moonalice Minute" episodes where the band talks about their past, present and future. https://www.moonalice.com/

Moonalice plays a set on Jam In The Van

Jam in the Van has an RV. Bands have to set up and record inside the van. The T’s were under the weather, so the rest of us went to the San Jose Convention Center and squeezed into the RV. (It would never have worked with ten!) Our first take was great, but the hard drive crashed, so we played the set again. It was really fun!

PopMatters: Bottlerock Napa review … featuring Moonalice

PopMatters wrote up a detailed review of the Bottlerock Napa festival. They wrote about the bands they liked best at the festival. The review is long and organized by day. We headlined a stage on Saturday night, so we are towards the end of that day’s write up. Enjoy!

Moonalice Will Not Play Indoors Until Further Notice

Today the band issued a statement:

We in Moonalice regret that we will not be able to play any indoor shows for the remainder of 2022. Members of our band, crew, and immediate families are extremely vulnerable to covid, and the persistence and increased transmissibility of the virus create a life or death situation for them. The same may be true for some of our fans.  Like all of you, we hoped we were done with covid, but covid is not done with us.
