According to Moonalice legend, tonight’s poster by David Singer depicts Stella Rainbow Moonalice, a matriarch who once lived right here in south Maui. Stella Rainbow was famous for surfing on a board of flowers. One day, the sun came up blue, which scared the crap out of everyone. Stella cut a deal with the sun god, took on the blue and everyone lived happily ever after.

According to Moonalice legend, there’s going to be a Rapture tomorrow. It’s guaranteed. We didn’t get tickets, though, as we had made other plans. If you want to join us, we’re going to Hilo on the Big Island.
