Who Was There?
According to Moonalice legend, Pioneertown got its start in the movie business ... and introduced our tribe to the wonders of celluloid. Members of our tribe were understudies to the boulders in Joshua Tree National Park and they moonlighted as hempistas at the very first saloon that operated at this address. As David Singer's amazing poster reveals, the good guys may have worn cowboy hats in Pioneertown, but at Pappy & Harriet's everyone is welcome, including us, even if we are lost and have flowers in our hair.
Note: This gig was in the same desert as Coachella (prior week) and Stagecoach (same day). Discuss.

My first Moonalice show, and I was very impressed. Dances were danced; fun was had; Little Wing was transcendent. Not the last.
A truly wonderful night! Grew up loving Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, and even the cowboys who couldn't sing, so the poster was a dream come true. Getting it signed by everybody made it even better. Loved the venue, hope you come out many times again!
Sweet show, and poster!
