According to Moonalice legend, tonight’s poster by Alexandra Fischer features Napa native Mirror Moonalice. As you can see Mirror was an identical twin. Or twins. It’s hard to be sure. She or they lived in Napa 16 centuries ago, farming the land and being the first to grow grapes. Her grapes were amazing, but after that things went straight downhill. Mirror was convinced that the only reasonable use of grapes was to make raisins. Her Napa Cabernet raisins from the 420 vintage were the best ever, but Mirror has been completely forgotten. Let’s all raisin a glass to Mirror Moonalice, Napa’s first grape farmer.
