According to Moonalice legend, today’s poster by Chris Shaw depicts Hoedown Moonalice, the first great Moonalice matriarch in Humboldt County. Centuries ago, Hoedown was the first to recognize that if you wanted great buds in September, you needed to plant great seeds in May and nurse them with great care all summer long. She is also one of several hundred Moonalice's credited with the invention of the pot hole. Hoedown’s influence has been felt far beyond the tribe and we salute her on this beautiful day!!!
