Who Was There?

According to Moonalice legend, Auburn was founded by French gold miners. More recently, other activities have gained prominence here. Chief among these is farming. Most of the crops produced around here are available at Safeway, but not all. Today's poster by the brilliant Dennis Larkins depicts two such crops. Most obvious among these is weed, which would be available at a dispensary, if only one existed in Auburn. The other is tie dyed roses, grown by the Seven Sisters of Auburn, who told us they would bring some to the festival. The sisters have some tasty herb, too, so kill two buds with one stone! Or get stoned with two buds. The choice is yours.
