According to Moonalice legend, we are gathered here for Soul Revival’s Grateful Easter Weekend. Easter got its start as a pagan fertility festival, filled with bunnies and eggs. Christianity co-opted Easter, adding religious services and incense. The Moonalice tribe filled an important void in Easter playbook by adding weed. You’re welcome.
Today’s poster by Jennae Bennett depicts Energizer Bunny Moonalice in a stressful situation. EB has lost his shades and his drum. Fortunately he still has his cannabis tea and plenty of doobies to get him through the night. We expect him to arrive any minute now!
Next Friday, April 22, we will have our annual 420 Gathering of the Tribes at Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. It will be a huge party, with a massive liquid light show, a poster exhibit, a magician, and other fun stuff. That evening we will officially release our new EP. We are making the EP available to you. It is $10, but only $5 for people who follow Moonalice on a streaming service.
