According to Moonalice legend, today is, March 14, also known as Pi Day. It is customary for the tribe to celebrate with baked goods with tasty fruit filling. Recent changes in eating habits put a damper on dessert, but in no way diminished the festive spirit of this show at San Francisco's Walden House shelter.
According to Moonalice legend, tonight's poster by Alexandra Fischer depicts the lovely Walden House Moonalice, the patron saint of second chances. Known as House to her friends, Walden taught our tribe how to live one day a time. For all her great qualities, Walden was a terrifying musician. Her instrument, the MoonHarp had 7 strings, all tuned to a pitch that caused listeners to beg for mercy.
We debuted six songs in this show: Unsung Heroes, Wild Horses, You, Sunny Afternoon, Paradise, and Blowin' in the Wind.
