According to Moonalice legend, this band has gotten into time travel … and we are taking all of you with us. As you will see from tonight’s poster by Alexandra Fischer, this show is actually happening on April 24. With the help of the tribe’s official magician, Joshua Logan, we have transported all of you six weeks into the past so that we can celebrate Lester’s birthday together.
Tonight’s poster by Alexandra Fischer depicts the birthday boy in a characteristic pose. Lester got into time travel before the rest of us. We could see that he was getting younger with every show … and now we know how he does it.
Weed. Weed is a time machine. Smoke a bunch and you will not know where you are. Smoke some more and you will have no idea when you are.
Tell ‘em Lester sent you.
Note: This show was interrupted briefly by rain (after Love Me Today). The rain was pretty intense for a while. Our incredible crew managed to erect a tent over John and the singers, and parasols over the players on the wings … and it only took them a few minutes. Fortunately, the audience was fully protected.
