Who Was There?

According to Moonalice legend, the tribe arrived in Flagstaff in 1926. Like so many people, the tribe rode their ponies in on Route 66, made a left turn on Route 420 and pitched their tipis. They came here to get high and got more than they bargained for. 7,000 feet of elevation proved to be more than most of the heavy smokers could handle. That first night they all passed out from lack of oxygen. The tribe was ecstatic! They have been buzzed happily ever after!
