Who Was There?

According to Moonalice legend, the tribe loves baseball. Most of us just watch, but a few among us are brave enough and energetic enough to play. Tonight’s poster by Chris Shaw depicts Jumbo Moonalice, the second bass man on the tribe’s Hall of Fame team. Jumbo played second bass because first bass was too painful for the crowd. You see, Jumbo couldn’t play bass at all. One look at the poster explains the problem. Jumbo was an elephant. The poster suggests otherwise, but Jumbo had no hands. No biggie. He had the best trunk the tribe ever saw. No junk. He could hit pretty well and fielded pretty well for an elephant. Best of all, he never forgot anything. After retirement, he became a librarian.
