Accord­ing to Moon­al­ice, this afternoon’s poster by Stan­ley Mouse depicts Look­ing Glass Moon­al­ice, who led the tribe here in Arcata through­out the 60s. Look­ing Glass’ had a unique skill: she could see the future. She was a close friend of Augus­tus Owsley Stan­ley the 3rd, a chemist and sound man of great repute in our world … and depended on his med­i­cine to keep her chops up. The prob­lem with see­ing the future is that every­thing is back­wards. Our tribe got behind Look­ing Glass in a big way … and per­haps you did also. If every­thing in the world seems back­wards to you, per­haps you just are behind Look­ing Glass … with the rest of us. If so, wel­come to the tribe!
