According to Moonalice legend, the presence of butterflies is an indicator of superior air quality. Butterflies hate air pollution, especially smoke and smog. We in the tribe are known to enjoy a puff or two of cannabis, so we appointed a czarina of air quality to make sure we would not harm the butterflies. As depicted in today's poster by Dennis Loren, Monarch Moonalice was the first human to work with butterflies on this issue. She asked their opinion of cannabis smoke. What the butterflies said may surprise you. Unlike tobacco and industrial smoke, cannabis smoke is alkaline. The butterflies can handle it unless the weed really sucks. So remember to be kind to butterflies: only smoke the good stuff.
