According to Moonalice legend, the story of Alamo is a microcosm of America itself ... A small, unincorporated community struggling for independence from the domination of its larger, incorporated neighbors, Walnut Creek and Danville. Denied its own government, Alamo has fought a quiet, but effective battle of mythical proportions. As depicted in today's poster by Dennis Loren, two heroes of mythology are coming to Alamo's rescue: Pegasus Moonalice is a flying horse. Mercury Moonalice is a man with chicken wings on his feet. The dude is one portion of buffalo sauce short of a barbecue. Pegasus and Mercury don't have clothes, much less any talent, but like the government, they are here to help!!!
