According to Moonalice legend, Delancey Street is like first rays of morning sunlight … a chance to begin again. The hard part about beginning again is that the pace is slow. Things don’t appear to change much at first. Today’s poster by Alexandra Fischer reminds us that when it comes to moving slowly, looks can be deceiving. Elephants don’t run. They are not physically able to do it. All they can do is walk. But they can walk 50 miles or more in a day without any trouble. Even the babies. You don’t have to do that for many days before you are a long way from where you started. That is the opportunity available to everyone of us in this room. We in Moonalice are here to cheer you on.
